Crash in Kansas City leads to 1 death, at least 2 injured

Drivers need to pay attention on the roads. They need to watch where they’re going and to give themselves enough time to make turns without forcing other traffic to slow down. Unfortunately, people are prone to human error, and those errors can result in significant collisions.

In a horrible crash in Kansas City, one person was left dead while three others were left injured.

The incident occurred when a Dodge pickup attempted to make a left turn on U.S. 40 highway in Kansas City. The truck did not give another vehicle, an Acura ILX, enough clearance, and the two collided. The AcuraILX had been heading east on the highway at the time.

The driver of the Acura died at the scene, and two female passengers traveling with the driver were taken to the hospital for treatment. The police have not yet released a reason for the fatal crash, but they did close the highway for several hours while investigating.

This is an example of a time when one wrong move causes a significant impact to multiple families. One person was left dead, and at least two others were hurt, all because there was not enough time to evade a collision.

If you are involved in a crash because of a vehicle turning in front of you or cutting you off in traffic, you may be able to file a claim for compensation. You may have injuries that require medical care or be unable to go back to work, so the claim you make may be able to help support you as you recover.
